The Wave Spectrum Buoy is a high-performance drifting observation device used for precise monitoring of ocean wave energy distribution and propagation direction. Based on a nine-axis MEMS inertial measurement unit (MEMS-IMU) and high-precision inertial navigation technology, this buoy can acquire real-time three-dimensional acceleration, velocity, and displacement data of sea surface motion. It then calculates the wave energy spectrum and directional spectrum using advanced ocean dynamics algorithms, enabling comprehensive monitoring of ocean wave characteristics.

Technical Features:

High-precision measurement: Spectral range 0.04–1.0 Hz, directional spectrum coverage 0–360°, accurately identifying wave energy distribution in different frequency bands.

Intelligent algorithm: Effectively eliminates integral accumulation errors and low-frequency instability errors, ensuring the separation and independent analysis of swells and wind waves.

Lightweight design: Compact structure, low power consumption (< 50 mA), easy to deploy and recover.
