Subsurface Buoy

Submersible beacon is one of the equipment commonly used in ocean research. It is used to observe the Marine environment elements for a long time by means of sensors placed below the surface of the ocean. Each set of submersible markers is a string of sensors, floats and weights connected by a cable. By laying in the ocean for a long time, continuous acquisition of relevant data, the submersible should have both communication and positioning functions, generally after being released by the underwater vehicle sank to the bottom of the sea, through the counterweight sitting on the bottom of the way to work, with long-term concealment, convenient layout, not easy to be damaged. The submersible is mainly composed of a pressure-proof watertight battery compartment, a split underwater acoustic communication positioning system and a balancing base. The underwater acoustic communication positioning system adopts split type, which is convenient to reduce the volume of the equipment. The battery counterweight is located at the bottom, and the battery is usually installed inside to supply power to the entire device. The counterweight base provides gravity stability. Some submersible markers also have self-destruct devices, mainly for data security and detection of data leakage functions.
