The radiation buoy is based on sensor technology, data processing technology and communication technology. Radiation detectors on the buoys are capable of detecting gamma rays and other types of radiation in seawater. The detectors convert the radiation signals they detect into electrical signals that are transmitted to a data-processing unit for initial analysis. The data processing unit will convert the radiation measurement results into digital signals that can be transmitted, and transmit the data to the control center on shore through the communication module. It is mainly composed of control unit system, power supply system, floating body mooring system and data monitoring system.
