The maintenance of navigation marks mainly includes the following aspects:
Maintenance types and cycles of navigation marks: Navigation mark maintenance includes four types of work: inspection, patrol, maintenance and repair. Inspection is generally carried out once a month, and some stable navigation marks can be extended to 2-3 months; the patrol cycle does not exceed 3 months, and low-risk navigation marks can be extended to 6 months; the maintenance cycle is usually 3 years, adjusted according to the material and water conditions, including overall replacement or repair; repair requirements are timely, and faults such as lighting are repaired within 48 hours, and lights are completed within 72 hours.
Objectives of navigation mark maintenance: Visual navigation marks pursue "accurate position, normal light quality, bright color, and good structure", radio navigation marks require "accurate signal, stable frequency, normal power, and continuous operation", and audio navigation marks require "clear signal and timely release". Annual maintenance indicators include navigation mark normal rate not less than 99.0%, and navigation mark maintenance normal rate not less than 99.5%.
Maintenance and maintenance requirements for navigation lights: including checking the circuit, control box and electrical parts of the power supply, water tightness, daylight switch, light quality, light source, open circuit voltage and load voltage, etc. In addition, it is necessary to check and clean the lens, check the fixation and level of the lamp, check the standby light, etc.
Development trend of navigation maintenance: With the development of technology and changes in management needs, the trend of navigation maintenance is to extend the maintenance cycle, reduce the maintenance workload, improve the maintenance quality, and reduce the maintenance cost.
Requirements for navigation management in the new "Maritime Traffic Safety Law": The new law clarifies the requirements for navigation construction, maintenance and maintenance, and makes management requirements for public navigation and special navigation, aiming to reduce maritime traffic risks and promote safe, economical and efficient navigation of ships.
