The material selection of the dosing pump mainly depends on its application scenario and the properties of the liquid it handles.
Common materials and their scope of application PVC: Suitable for most mildly corrosive chemicals, such as mild acids and alkalis, but not for organic solvents, strong acids and alkalis, and liquids above 40°C, nor for the food and drinking water industries. PVDF: Has high chemical stability and is suitable for handling strong acids, strong alkalis, and some organic solvents. PP: Acid and alkali resistant and has a certain high temperature resistance, but is not suitable for organic solvents, strong acids and alkalis, and liquids containing hypochlorite. PTFE: Suitable for various media, high temperature resistant, but with a high cost. SS304, SS316: Suitable for organic solvents and high temperature liquids, but not resistant to strong acids. Ceramic: Performs well in extreme environments and is suitable for ultra-high purity and extremely low wear applications, such as semiconductor manufacturing.
