In industrial production, wastewater treatment, chemical dosing, and other fields, the hydraulic diaphragm pump, with its high precision, corrosion resistance, and long life, has become a core device for precise metering. However, even the best equipment requires proper maintenance and care. Scientific maintenance not only extends the pump's lifespan but also ensures that dosing accuracy remains within ideal limits.
1. Regularly Check the Hydraulic System
The hydraulic system is the "heart" of the hydraulic diaphragm pump. During daily operation, regularly check the hydraulic oil for cleanliness and adequacy. Contaminated or insufficient hydraulic oil can easily lead to uneven force on the diaphragm, affecting dosing accuracy. It is recommended to replace the hydraulic oil every 2,000 hours of operation or every six months, using high-quality hydraulic oil recommended by the manufacturer to ensure system stability and reliability.
2. Regularly Monitor the Diaphragm's Operating Condition
The diaphragm is a key component of the pump, fulfilling the important role of transmitting pressure and isolating the medium. While the diaphragm material we use offers excellent corrosion and fatigue resistance, typically boasting a service life exceeding 20,000 hours, it is still recommended to inspect the diaphragm for signs of aging, cracks, or deformation during each maintenance session. If any abnormalities are detected, they should be replaced promptly to prevent leakage or flow abnormalities.
3. Maintaining Cleanliness of the Valve Body and Piping
Clogging the pump's inlet and outlet valves with impurities or crystals can cause flow fluctuations or even shutdown. Depending on the media properties, we recommend that users regularly flush the piping to keep the valve interior clean. For applications involving high-viscosity or easily crystallized liquids, flushing fluid can be applied after shutdown to prevent solidified residue and blockage.
4. Regularly Inspect Seals and Connectors
Hydraulic diaphragm pumps operate under high pressure for extended periods of time. The reliability of seals, bolts, and joints is directly related to system safety. Regular inspections should be conducted to check for signs of aging and loose joints. While our design utilizes high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and polymer construction, the risk of leakage is significantly reduced, proper inspection remains crucial for long-term stable operation.
5. Pay attention to the operating environment and temperature.
Although the pump itself has excellent environmental adaptability, it is still recommended to operate in a well-ventilated, dry environment to avoid strong vibration and excessive temperatures that may affect the hydraulic oil and electronic control system. If it is used in extreme conditions for a long time, it is recommended to select an enclosure with a protective grade or cooling device to ensure system stability.
